BLUSHING FILMS

VERY INTO DOGS EVEN THOUGH I DON’T HAVE ONE. RAISED IN THE MIDWEST WITH A HEART FOR PEOPLE, TACOS AND TRAVEL. LET’S BE FRIENDS!

ONCE A DREAMER, ALWAYS A DREAMER.

Picture this: a tiny 10-year-old girl, spinning around barefoot with flowers in her hand in the backyard, next to the swing set her dad built. That was me, with the classic disposal camera always in my pocket.

I’ve always been into creating, and I mean from my earliest memories. Painting all over my bedroom walls (sorry mom), taking pictures of my friends and I, writing poems and always going a little too hard in my school’s Friday drawing competitions. My parents let my creativity roam free and I’m so grateful for that, because it showed me so much about who I am along the way.

It wasn’t until college, where I was studying photography, that I discovered video. It challenged me to be thoughtful about not just creating something visual, but to be a good storyteller. And that’s how I got here! Now, I tell peoples’ stories for a living. In 6 years and over 150 films later, I’ve seen more kinds of love than I ever anticipated. And I thank my lucky stars that love is the story I am so blessed to be sharing.
