The simple facts: I love encouraging people, the color orange, exploring, being kind, meaningful conversation, the sound of raindrops on leaves, and I’m an ever-growing minimalist. And I love planet earth because all the dogs live here.
I’ve always been into creating, from my earliest memories. Painting all over my bedroom walls (sorry mom), taking pictures of my friends and I, writing poems and spending every spare moment of my college days in the ceramics studio. My parents let my creativity roam free and I’m so grateful for that, because it showed me so much about who I am along the way.
It wasn’t until college, where I was studying photography, that I discovered video. It challenged me to be thoughtful about not just creating something visual, but to be a good storyteller. And that’s how I got here! Now, I tell stories for a living. I still cry over your vows, your groom’s dance with his mom makes me weepy, and part of my job is asking you to make out so expect to have the actual best day ever. In 6 years and over 200 films later, I’ve seen more kinds of love than I ever anticipated. And I thank my lucky stars that love is the story I get to share.
